Engineered Stone ... Durable, Beautiful, Hygienic & Easy to Care for !

Engineered stone, commonly referred to as Quartz, is a strong, durable and attractive slab surface that is very consistent in look and pattern. It is heat-resistant, non-porous and does not accumulate bacteria and other microorganisms. The surfaces have the ability to resist stains and are very easy to maintain.

Some engineered stone products are made to resemble granite, limestone or marble, enabling you to get the look you want but with better performance. If you like using recycled materials or protecting natural resources like real marble, engineered stone counters might be the slab surface for you. Engineered stone products may have natural color tones or exotic colors and patterns giving a wide range of possibilities for your project. With exceptional flexural strength and impact resistance, Quartz surfaces are designed to perform in an active kitchen. Unlike solid surfacing or laminate, which are temperature-sensitive and can catch fire, engineered stone resists heat well and provides an excellent work surface in the kitchen.

Maintenance for Engineered Stone Countertops

Engineered countertops will retain their radiant appearance for years. For routine cleaning, use soap and water with a damp cloth, sponge or paper towel and, if necessary, a small amount of non-bleach, nonabrasive cleanser. Even though engineered stone resists permanent staining when exposed to liquids (such as wine, vinegar, tea, lemon juice and soda) or fruits and vegetables, wipe up food and liquid spills as soon as possible. Avoid using cleansers that contain bleach. Always follow the cleaner manufacturer's use instructions and exercise proper care when handling and storing any cleaning products. To maintain the beauty of the engineered stone, do not place hot skillets or roasting pans directly onto the surface and always use a cutting board when cutting.
